At Cover6 Financial, our mission is simple: to empower individuals by providing clear, honest, and personalized retirement solutions that meet their unique needs—nothing more, nothing less.
This journey began with a personal experience that opened my eyes to the challenges many face when navigating complex retirement decisions. Watching my mother struggle through her retirement and Medicare journey ignited a passion in me to do better—not just for her, but for anyone feeling lost or overwhelmed in this process.
After years in corporate America, where profits often overshadowed people, I knew I needed to create something different. I wanted to break free of the "bottom line" mentality and build a company rooted in trust, understanding, and one-on-one connection.
Cover6 was founded as a force for good in both the finance and insurance industries. We are committed to helping individuals and families make informed choices with confidence, free from pressure or confusion. Every client deserves to feel secure in their future, and we are here to guide them every step of the way.
Why Cover6?
When I founded Cover6 Financial, I wanted a name that reflected our mission and paid homage to my military service. In the military, no matter the branch, it’s common to reassure your brothers and sisters by saying, “I’ve got your six.” This phrase comes from the concept of a clock face, where 12 o’clock is straight ahead, 3 o’clock is to the right, and 6 o’clock is directly behind you. To have someone’s six means to have their back.

About the Founder
As a proud Navy veteran who served at sea and overseas for 9 years, I bring a strong sense of duty and commitment to everything I do. But beyond my military service, I’m a dedicated dad and loving husband who places family above all else. Outside of work, I’m passionate about hunting, fishing, and watching my boys compete in sports. While I’ve endured my fair share of tough seasons as a fan of all the Dallas teams, the thrill of competition never gets old.
This journey to founding Cover6 Financial is personal, driven by my experiences and my commitment to helping others protect what matters most—whether it’s their family, their future, or just their peace of mind.
